(2024) belichten de mechanismen die optreden wanneer MgO-kroezen in contact komen met gesmolten nikkelgebaseerde superlegeringen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:22px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-reaction-processes\"><strong>Reactieprocessen<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Smelten van puur Ni: de MgO-kroes vertoont voornamelijk een goede bevochtiging met minimale reactie;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Smelten van Ni-gebaseerde legeringen: MgO lost op en ontleedt, waarbij zuurstof vrijkomt die met Al in de legering reageert tot Al\u2082O\u2083;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Het gevormde Al\u2082O\u2083 reageert verder met de MgO-matrix en vormt een MgAl\u2082O\u2084-spinel laag van circa 80 \u03bcm dikte.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-layer-characteristics\"><strong>Laagkenmerken<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Het binnenoppervlak van de kroes ontwikkelt een dubbellaagse structuur: resterend MgO-substraat en een buitenlaag van Al\u2082O\u2083\/MgAl\u2082O\u2084;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SEM- en XRD-analyses bevestigen spinelvorming en tonen slaklagen die in de smelt drijven en mogelijk inclusies worden.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-\"><strong> <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:16px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-advantages\"><strong>Voordelen \/ procesbeheersing<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Maximale verlaging van de kroesporositeit om smeltinfiltratie te remmen;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verlaging van het Al-gehalte in de smelt en handhaving van een smelttemperatuur \u22641.550 \u00b0C om de reactiekinetiek te beperken.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-\"><strong> <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:16px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Validatieresultaten<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In vergelijking met standaardkroezen verminderde het ontwerp van Weiert Ceramics de dikte van de reactielaag met ongeveer 45 % en verlaagde het het gehalte aan drijvende slakinclusies met circa 50 %. Onder microscopische observatie bleek het smeltoppervlak aanzienlijk schoner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:16px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-summary\"><strong>Samenvatting<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>De interfaciale reactie tussen MgO-kroezen en nikkelgebaseerde superlegeringen is een tweesnijdend fenomeen: zij kan zowel de kroeswand stabiliseren als de legering verontreinigen.
