For high-precision components, CNC machining is often used before or after sintering.\r\n\r\nWith the rise of 3D printing, alumina photopolymerization has become an important shaping method\u00a0as well.\r\nAlumina ceramics come in various forms based on crystal structure, mainly including \u03b1-Al\u2082O\u2083, \u03b2-Al\u2082O\u2083, and \u03b3-Al\u2082O\u2083. After high-temperature sintering (typically over 1200\u00b0C), all structures transform into \u03b1-Al\u2082O\u2083, also called corundum.\r\n\r\nThe most commonly used alumina ceramics contain 90% or more Al\u2082O\u2083, with varieties such as 95%, 99%, 99.7%, and 99.99% purity.
